Medication Management

We at Step by Step Psychiatry want to ensure that we are taking the right steps to treatment, and care so our licensed providers oversee each client that is prescribed with mental health medications. Medication and Therapy work and it is implemented as part of the treatment plan as it helps our providers to assess our client’s progress and the effectiveness of the medications prescribed. It allows us to determine if changes to doses or prescriptions may need to be made.

Sometimes Mental and Behavioral health disorders require medication. THEREFORE, medication management is a CRITICAL component. It is intended to help patients manage medication schedules, identify symptoms, and changes. with medication management we discuss medical history and history of medications. Which allows the Provider information when determining proper medications and when medications should be taken or not. If medication is needed, then addressing any issues with symptoms or adverse reactions with a patient is important before taking prescribed medication.
